Any ideas why the audio is so poor with Windows 7 via RDP?

I am creating a Hyper-v network to use for RDP sessions for remote users. I'm using Server 2008 R2. The remote users are connecting via an HP Thin Client T5325.

My problem is with Windows 7. The audio is horrific - sounds like lightning. It isn't a big deal but when connected to a Windows XP virtual machine, the audio works great. Does anybody have ideas why this is occurring? No bottle necks on the network or CPU.

ASKER

It has to be the HP Thin Client - i connected via a PC and it runs just fine. It's just weird  that XP worked ok with the thin client. Can't find anything pointing to a specific problem.
