Mozilla Thunderbird

My pc is a Dell Optiplex 320 and I have Windows 7.  I have just installed Thunderbird to evaluate it against Microsoft Outlook.
When I see the emails in the Inbox in Thunderbird, it shows only the Time of receipt.
How do I configure them to show Date and Time they were received.
Thanks.

Tomorrow you will see a date as if you just set this uo today and you fetched todays mail it will only give you the time because it is Today, but once you have used it you should get the Date and Time.
I think you can force Todays date also in about:config but will have to look that up and get back to you.

Hello,

Thunderbird requires addons lightning-0.9-tb-win(2)

Please download it & install add on from Thunderbird

Open Thunderbird - Tools - addons - install addons - give the path where you download that.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/2313

Tushar, Thundrrbird does not Require Lightning to view date of receipt. Lightning is the Calendar application, which is nice to have, but it is not required for this issue.
