Importing pst as a Resource mailbox

Hi Experts,

We have Exchange 2010  version 14.00.0702.000 and were looking to move public folder calendars setup in Exchange 2003 as a resource mailbox in 2010. We have 2 users who use these calendars. We are planning to archive those as .psts, create a new resource mailbox and import them into Exchange 2010. Is this feasible or has anyone does this before? If so how can we do this?

We had some issues removing Exchange 2003 from the domain hence the need to do the stuff above. TIA

Move Mailboxes from Exchange 2003 Servers to Exchange 2010 Servers

Excerpts from the above URL
Exchange 2003 doesn't have resource mailboxes. Instead, you must use shared mailboxes to represent resources. If you move a shared mailbox from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010, the move request creates the mailbox as a shared Exchange 2010 mailbox. After you move the mailbox to Exchange 2010, you can convert it to a resource mailbox.
