Project folder structure best practices...

Hey all,

I am getting ready to head-up my first major project and I would like advise on the best way to create a folder structure within my windows environment...or rather best practices.

I used to put my projects under my C: drive as a folder for each project, but I am not sure this is the best way to set it up.

I am only concerned with setting it up on my local machine right now, later I will setup the source control, and other 'stuff'.

This is mainly for MY stuff on MY computer for the project.  But if I wanted the other developers to follow the same setup, I'd like to have something that is common the best way possible.  It may even lead to being the same setup in source control.

Thanks for any ideas.
