"Show this folder as an email address book " grayed out

A user wants to add a contact list stored in Public Folders to the drop-down list in address book "show names from the:". When I right-click the contact list, go to properties, outlook address book tab, the check box to show this folder as an email Adress Book is grayed out. It works fine for me.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What you'll need to do is add it to the account first, then the check box will not be grayed out.

Go to Tools->Email Accounts... and select 'Add a new directory or address book'. Then select Additional Address Books. Then select Outlook Address Book. I believe that's all there is to it, afterwards the user should be able to check that box for any contacts list.
