Remote Desktop

Having a strange problem. I have a server 2008, windows 7 ultimate desktop, windows 7 ultimate laptop and an iPhone 4.

Just the other day I was able to remote into my desktop from my laptop. Now I cannot. I can remote into the server just fine. Also, i can remote into the desktop with my IPhone just fine. I have tried using the name "desktop" and I have also tried using the ip address. All settings are correct because again, I just connected a couple of days ago. No settings on any devices has changed. I get the message, "Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons..."

Any solution?

Verify that rdp is enabled on your desktop. Do not know why it would change unless gpo disabled it.

I tried pinging desktop by both name and ip address and I get Request timed out. Very strange.
And 3389 is not reachable, too?
You can use the tracert command to see how far you can get
tracert targetIP
or download tracetcp to trace port access.
