server 2003, ran a MS update last night and now I can not connect to it

my server 2003 SBS ran an MS update last night then shut down and this morning no one can connect.

We do not have any of SBS running, no exchange, only the server.

We do not join the domain we just "net use" a drive letter and connect, this server has been working flawlessly for 2 years.

I can ping the server IP address from the clients.
I can browse Network Neighborhood and see the server, if i try to double click it says it is not available.

How can I tell what is the last update installed?

Any clues on what might be wrong?

Thank you experts

thank you appwiz.cpl worked perfectly

Both computer browser and server service are started.

The update is a Windows share point services service pack sp3 wsssp and it reports that tjhe update can not be uninstalled.

I will re post a different question concerning the share pointe
