Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.SY60100

When trying to create a new company in GP 10 utilities, I get this error.

 [Microsoft] [ODBC SQL Server Driver] [SQL Server] Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PKSY60100'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.SY60100'

Any help would be welcomed as I am not an SQL guy. thanks

change the column values to prevent duplication

for example if there is a PK (primary key) on a id column, you cannot insert two records with same id, make sure thay are unique...

This happened because DYNSA was not the owner of my Dynamics database. I had to reassign DYNSA as the owner and then it worked. Here is a customer source article explaining the steps.

Note. If DYNSA is already a user of the database it needs to be deleted before you can add it as the owner.  Goodluck
