Split Access Database cannot find Back End

I have an Access 2007 database that I have split (FE & BE).  When I launch the front end, it is looking for the back end in my "MyDocuments" folder, rather than in the folder which contains the front end.  Is there a place I need to change the reference to the BE?

Thanks..Tom

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

in your database go to:

Tools > Database Utilities > Linked Table Manager

in the window that appears click on Always prompt for new location at the bottom and click ok.

You will be propted for the location of the database and all tables will re-connect.

If you need to automate this, you can include code in the startup routine of your app that automatically relinks your table. Here's a posting that shows several different methods:

If you regularly deploy updates to your FE, it's a good idea to have automated relink code so that your enduser doesn't have to use the Linked Table Manager (and it's not available if you end up using the Runtime).
