Crystal Reports - Help with Running Total and Formula

Attached below is my Crystal report. What I need help with is in my Group 1 @UnitTotal summary for the number of days.

I have 6 groupings in this report (AssignedUnit, GurantorName, GroupBy1, GroupBy2, GroupBy3 and PFCDutyStatusId). My client needs to Group by Assigned Unit first then by GurantorName.

The issue I am having is I need in my Group 1 footer total the count of days for each Assigned unit for each guarantor, for each distinct case type. I am not sure how with how I have it set in my report.

Probably the easiest way to do that is a sub report.  There are other ways but they get complex unless the number of subgroupings is small.

When you sy Group1 do you mean in the Assigned Unit group footer?

Yes, in the Assigned Unit Group Footer.
How many guarantors and how many different case types?

What field is used to count the days or is it a calculation based on the start and end dates?

Can you group by ccase tpye before the GroupBy1 group?

The Group1 can and most likely will be Case Type. The end user has a drop down they pick from and Case Type is included in that. I can remove it from the list items to pick from in GroupBy1, GroupBy2 and GroupBy3 and Group it by Assigned Unit first, Guarantor Second and then to Case Type and on.

How many case types - Just 2.

How many guarantors - can be hundreds if not thousands of unique patients.

What field is used to count the days - its a calculation done in SQL and excludes weekends.
It would make the totaling easier to do if it is since you don't have to write formula to account for each possible case type.

I'll put it in the report and see what I can do.
