Asp Classic Application Pool Expires After .Net Upload

Hi,

I have a .net solution that accepts multi-part form data for uploads and saves the files into a directory viewable on a website. The website that shows and uses the images is an Asp Classic website.

For some reason, randomly, when uploading files the Asp Classic application pool is "emptied". There are no errors in event logs. The application pool does not get recycled. The w3p process does not get a new ID, and there is no log anywhere that the application pool was restarted.

In the upload, I am doing:

File.Copy(a, b, true);

and I resize images via

http://getlara.com/north-america/canada/alberta/edmonton/post/2008/10/13/png-jpg-gif-image-resize-with-net-with-transparency

The only way I have been able to stop the issue from happening is adding a Thread.Sleep(500) after the File.Copy and a Thread.Sleep(100) after the resize method.

ASKER

Yes I have an application pool for each.

We have no .net applications running under the same app pool as any classic application.
