Web Safe Fonts

Hello EE,

I was wondering what type of font I should use for a Photographers website. I would like to use something nice that would look nice even if it was bolded and not sure what is typically used these days.

Here's a nice chart that may help:
http://www.ampsoft.net/webdesign-l/WindowsMacFonts.html

Some are using custom fonts and there are a couple ways of doing it.
1) Google's way: http://code.google.com/webfonts
2) CSS way: http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/design-tutorials/quick-tip-how-to-work-with-font-face/

Both have their pros and cons.  Just realize that when using either of these 2 ways, depending on the browser, the font could show up kind of jagged or pixelated.  So be sure that you have tested thoroughly and that it looks the way you want in all the browsers.
Please excuse that first list I posted.  I didn't realize it was so out-dated.  Here's 2 updated lists:

Hi Zado,

Which browsers will I most likely have problems with if I use @font-face?

Also, what do I do if I have a mixed variety if old/new browsers?

Also, I don't see a link to your past post about 12,000 plus fonts. Could you please resend that?

Thanks in advance!!!
