ServeRaid-5i Card

I had to replace the ServeRaid-5i card in my ibm server.  I installed card and copied the drive info to the card but when I rebooted I get the following:

IBM ServeRAID BIOS
BIOS Version: 6.11.07
 1:ServeRaid-5i   Slot 2, Logical drv=1, other=0, firmware=6.10.24,status=fail
Configuration mismatch between battery backup cache and controller - 04h
 configured s/n: 0031ju49     installed s/n: 0032ca71
Warning: The battery backup cache (BBC) contains data that cannot be written to the physical drives.
Note: To recover the data, shutdown an reconnect the previous physical drives, or for a ServeRAID-4H, install the original BBC.

Press F5 - Accept new BBC, and lose all data stored in BBC.
I am not sure what I should do a this point without losing data?  Is pressing F5 safe?
