Does Streaming Netflix require HDTV?
Does Streaming Netflix require HDTV? Or is there a device (eg. wii) that streams Netflix and does not require HDTV. I have Airport Extreme WiFi.

As my TV is a stand-alone Sony WEGA and I have a DVD subscription to Netflix, I want to purchase a wireless streaming device (Wii?) that will connect to one of the 3-input RCA-type jacks (eg. Video-3) @ 480i. Am I still OK?

Many of the new Blu-Ray players and gaming consoles offer "Connected" capabilities, along with "apps" like Netflix, Pandora, etc. You don't need an HDTV-compatible television to get the service. In fact, very little of Netflix's streaming content is even in HD.
Apple TV is the same sort of device - albeit way more expensive. They are focusing on HD-content only, so yes...you'd need an HDTV.
