PDAnet issue on Sprint EVO

I tether from my Sprint EVO 4g phone to my laptop for internet service through droid app:  PDAnet.

I keep receiving this message when I attempt to go to my Yahoo or Gmail while surfing the internet through PDAnet:

Secure web pages are blocked in free edition.  Click here to register for full version.

I'm assuming that I'm going to have to pay some $$$ so is there a way around this?  If not, how much is it?

Or better yet, is there another app I can use that is also FREE?

I have the paid version of PDANet on my Droid and recently started having lots of problems with it. I switched to EasyTether:
http://www.mobile-stream.com/easytether/android.html

I have had no problems with EasyTether, and at $9.99 is less expensive than PDANet, which is showing as "$15.95 now for a limited time" at their website. Regards, Joe
I should add that I'm on Verizon, not Sprint. If Sprint is making life difficult for PDANet, it may do the same for EasyTether. But it's worth a shot. If it doesn't work right out of the box, return it for a refund. In my case, it's the best 10 bucks I've spent in a long time. Regards, Joe
