friction feed accessory for paper feed

Last Modified: 2012-05-10
I would like to make a simple paper feed mechanism based on friction feed principle similar to those used in laser printers and scanners. My requirement is that the top sheet in a stack of about 200 sheets in a tray should be removed under a command from control lgic. The speed is not an issue. Even 1 sheet per second is OK. My questions:
1. Are there any ready made friction feed subassemblies available in the market which I can buy and incorporate into my unit?
2. Are there any simple mechanical designs to achieve this?

Any help and suggestions are welcome.
