Error loading c:\windows\system32\dgnetf.dll at Windows XP desktop

Hi Everyone;

         For a couple of days or so, I have noticed at error message which appears at the Windows XP desktop.  The error message is as follows: Error loading c:\windows\system32\dgnetf.dll.  The specified module could not be found.  When I click ok, the message disappears.  Functionally, the desktop pc is working just fine with respect to hardware and of course the internet.  I did notice this error message appeared very shortly after some programs were uninstalled.  Perhaps one of the uninstalls was not complete.  I have seen situations in which a fragment of an uninstalled program would still be left behind within the registry.  But, I am merely guessing on that part.

           At any rate, if someone could share some insights and suggestions for resolving this issue, it will be greatly appreciated.

           Thank you.
