I agree with the dark blue backround should go. Maybe try a light gray. I would also think about using a different header image, or not one at all on the pages that aren't the home page. 1.On the background color,i would really appreciate if you used color codes because am not so good at colors.If you say light gray,i might not pick light gray,therefore the use of colors will only allow me to change via the coded input such as 3a4f9c.
2.Am not an expert in Wordpress,i just ran across it and tried it.When you say you have validated the Css file,i have no clue what you are talking about.Please bare with me,am just learning,a little guide would help,specifying what we are trying to achieve.
Am i supposed to copy and paste to replace the the current CSS file?

3.About the removing the Header from the other pages,wouldn't it look quite plain without header??i will try tho i have no clue how to remove the header from the other pages other than the home page,i will try though to check how its done.
4.I used the Twenty-ten theme because when i read about it,i found out it has a built in menu module,that you can use,to even create sliding menus without coding anything.It also enables you to use widgets that makes life easier.If i change the them,what is the implication on the content???

Aside from the above comments (which I agree with) my only other suggestion is to lose the animated banners on the right and bottom of the page.  They are distracting and don't add anything to your site.

The rule I live by is no animated gifs or flash unless it adds something that enhances the user experience.  

You can add in a slideshow banner, which can describe your business pictorially.
Get the slideshow plugin.

You can also add custom Header fonts, which can really make you site look good.
You can use cufon, or google fonts to do this. There is a plugin for these. You can make you form look really good with jqtransform..Google it.

Just some suggestions.
