The drive that contains your data file is out of disk space.

I'm getting the following problem after moving few user mailboxes from one Storage Group to another on the same Exchange 2007 machine:

Whenever the user tries to delete/move a message OR empty the deleted items folder, he gets the error "The drive that contains your data file is out of disk space........ Verify the disk is not full and that the file is not being used".

This started happening only after I moved their mailboxes. It is happening only for two users whereas I have moved more than 80 mailboxes.

Regards,

ASKER

The solution in this link talks about PST files only.

My problem is not related to PST files. It is an Exchange mailbox configured through MAPI using OST file.

This looks like pc specific issue.

Try updating office 2007 and try creating new profie without deleting the old one.

Then let us know the feedback.

As Neilsr commented please check your c drive freespace also
What happens if the user logs into a DIFFERENT computer and then signs into outlook?
Via OWA is there an error?
Please try to compact ( delete white space):

Drive C had insufficient disk space. Creating some free space resolved the issue.

Thanks guys.
