Group Policy/Folder redirection

I'm in the process of transferring the users home directory's to a different server but running into some issues with folder redirection.

I've gone into the group policy and updated the redirects to the new locations (changed server name in unc) but not all machines are getting the new location. Specifically, the Windows 7 machines we have have not updated the location even after running a gpupdate.

Is there a better way to update these machines rather then waiting for the machine to do it on it's own and if I do need to wait how can I check to see when the machines do the change over?

Under the Settings Tab there is a "Also apply redirection policy to Windows XP...." and this needs to be ticked. Is it ticked?

We have Windows Server 2003 machines so we've just been using the group policy management console for both WinXP and Win7 machines.

The link you gave doesn't look like it pertains to the Server OS's we're running. Am I misreading?
These are the RSAT tools that are fully supported for Windows Server 2003:

    * Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) Tools
    * Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) Tools
    * Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) Tools
    * DHCP Server Tools
    * DNS Server Tools
    * Group Policy Management Tools     <<<<<
    * Network Load Balancing Tools
    * Terminal Services Tools
    * Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI) Services Tools
Thanks for the grade. Good luck.
