I seem to be able to see a border on the wrapperDiv class. Please see attached.

Is this the border you're talking about?

good luck
rochestermn,

It looks like you have a extra closing div tag (</div>), on line 253.  This could be causing formatting issues such as the strange border placement in image SevenAteAnthony posted above.

Also some browsers might not like the comment located between the Selector and the Declaration for the wrapperdiv:

#wrapperdiv /*outside div*/
{
    border:1px  solid #aaa;
    width: 750px;
      margin:  0  auto 2em;
      padding: 0;
      text-align: left;

}

You may consider moving the comment above the selector like this:

/*outside div*/
#wrapperdiv
{
    border:1px  solid #aaa;
    width: 750px;
      margin:  0  auto 2em;
      padding: 0;
      text-align: left;

}

Also is this happening in all browsers or just a particular one (which browsers and OS are you using)?

Thanks,
fburrows
