Windows 2008 VPN and dns

How do I make Windows client look to a different DNS server when connected via VPN to Windows 2008 sbs server?  I'm new to Windows VPN. At present we use openVPN (via a netpilot - permieter firewall device) while offsite to connect to our office network.  I dont like this method for 2 reasons:

1.  The only authentication is a certificate key (no passwords) which means if the PC's are stolen then the thieve can login.
2. The DNS will be pointing to what ever the local dhcp will be point to.

I would like to use windows because it contains a extra method of authentication (the windows username and password) and hopefully some way to use the Office dns server so we can connect to our office resources by name.

Our Server is a Windows 2008 SBS
our clients are a mixture of Windows XP and windows 7

any advice is appreciated.  Thanks.
