How Can I Make AOL the Default Mail Program in Windows 7?

I have a client running Windows 7 on a Sony Vaio laptop. He uses AOL 9.5 for his primary personal email. But he also has Thunderbird for a work-related email address (associated with his web domain).

If he wants to email directly by right-clicking it inside Windows Explorer, by default Windows is using Mozilla Thunderbird to send the file. However, my client wants AOL to be the default email program, not TB.

Can't see how to set AOL to be the default email program?

I think that if you go to the start menu -> default programs -> Set your default programs, click on AOL on the list, and then choosing make this program default, solves your problem.

Thanks FD88. Going to "Set your default programs" was my first guess too.

However, AOL is not listed as one of programs and I don't see any way to add it.
rsultan, thought you nailed it. However, followed your instructions, but for some reason still defaulting to Thunderbird to send emails. :-(
