Gmail Email, Android, and Outloook

I have a new droid phone and I set up my email accounts on the pop3 email application. I have 4 email accounts that are also hooked up to my outlook on my computer. Three out of the 4 accounts are working fine, but for some reason, my gmail account (which is my name as the domain, purchased through gmail) is work properly. Here is what it does:

When an email is downloaded in my phone before outlook, outlook won't receive the message. Even though the message remains in my inbox online (it gets moved to "read" status), outlook won't pick it up. It's almost as if it thinks it already has it. If the message hasn't be downloaded on my phone first, everything works fine. Any ideas to whats going on?

How have you configured the other 3 accounts if they are working fine?
I suggested going through the configuration again. I think you have a missed a setting somewhere. Compare the settings of the GMail Account to the other 3 Accounts.

Gmail may have a non-standard implementation of POP and/or Outlook may not be correctly handling read messages via POP protocol.

Technically it should be working, but as it is not I am simply offering advice to diagnose the issue encountered.
That's a fair point, buts that yet to be established.
