Can any SQL object be restored if master database is restored in SQL 2005?

Hello,
Can master database be backed up and resotred in SQL 2005?
If yes, is there any SQL object that can be restored when master database is resotred?
I am curious if such objects as linked servers, SQL logins can be restored if master ( or any system db ) database is restored.

Thank you for your help

For restoring the user DBs though you can simply run the following command after starting in single-user mode and repeat it for all Model, MSDB, TempDB and userDBs:

ALTER DATABASE mssqlsystemresource
MODIFY FILE (name = data, filename = ' \mssqlsystemresource.mdf')
GO

ALTER DATABASE mssqlsystemresource
MODIFY FILE (name = log, filename = ' \mssqlsystemresource.ldf')
GO

AngelIII,
thank you for your prompt response.
I have never restored master database ( or any system database ) but I can research on how to do it.

Thanks,
avirups,
This post is closed and I cannot assign any point to your response.
Sorry about that.

BTW, are mssqlsystemresource.mdf and .ldf the database file for SQL 2008 R2 only?
Is there such a database "systemresource" in SQL 2005?

Thanks,
mssqlsystemresource is already in sql 2005.
