Using Windows Deployment Services with Symantec Ghost

Last Modified: 2013-11-21
I am looking at using Windows Deployment Services (based on Windows 7) to deploy a number of different images to 3 or 4 types of hardware (a total of around 1,000 devices). I am considering using this in conjuction with Ghost to enable better managemrnt and optiosn such as multicasting. Has anyone had experience of this/any pointers or do's and don't. Previously I would have looked at using System Centre Config Manager (SCCM) but have been advised that WDS and Ghost is a much better (and cheaper mix).

Many thanks,
