Hi, that's not really the actual error. The actual error will be in the System Log and is visible in the Console App. To view it, use Spotlight - COMMAND-SPACE to bring up the Spotlight search field and type in Console. SPotlight will highlight it as the TOP HIT. Now press the Enter key.

Now, the Console will appear. By default, it will show the Console Messages. If the error occurred recently, it should be visible...

Search for the approximate time the error occurred and note the error, if any, found and copy that here (or a screenshot is fine (note, you can use the in-built screen capture tool in OS X to capture just the relevant part of your screen with COMMAND-SHIFT-4, a cross hair will replace your pointer, and you can click and drag from one corner to the opposite corner of a box around the relevant content, click again and the screenshot will be saved to your desktop normally. Send that and maybe I can make heads or tails of it...

I have some thoughts on what it might be, but I'll hold off for the error first, just in case.

Try running Repair Permissions from Disk Utility.
Looking at the log screenshot, it might just be permissions. I have seen corruption of a single email message cause problems, but you don't appear to have an error that looks like that, so Repair Permissions in Disk Utility.

Use Spotlight to find Disk Utility, launch it, highlight the Macintosh HD volume and click Repair Permissions - do this two or three times at least (the reason is that one pass may not be able to find a problem until the prior pass repairs something else first - it is common for permissions to get messed up too, especially after installs and whatnot so this is a good thing to do every couple months). You might also need to repair permissions on the drive you are bringing the messages over from. If it is the iomega HDD, it is possible there is corruption and you might need to recopy the data or try to copy the email using the finder to a folder on the desktop and import from there (as the USB drive might be the source of the issue.
Ran repair Permissions 6 or 7 times and still get the attached list every time... Hasnt fixed my problem though...?
