Sharing User Controls and Classes among projects in VS 2010

I have a number of controls that I have built and re-use project-to-project but its becoming combersome to copy new revisions around to make sure all projects are kept up-to-date.  Is there a neat way of sharing these controls (and modules/classes) among projects?  I assume its through the GAC but in the past its been rather daunting to use.  Now that I am in VS 2010, perhaps they've made this easier?  If not, what steps should I take?

Thanks!

Use a Class Library project template and compile all shared code into a DLL. Use that DLL in all other projects.

Well thats a start. Here's an example.  I have a control that allows the user to choose an image to use on a web page.  The control consists of a table with an image in it, and a browse button to choose the image they want.  The control utilizes a Image hybrid that I wrote that resizes the chosen image based on particular parameters.  How can I use this control across multiple web projects?  Remember, the control has ASP:Image and other HTML references.  Not just simple code.

Thanks!
