Is this true:

https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2057740

The default setting on Catalyst switches is to not perform any storm control, neither unicast nor broadcast. Do you experience any problems.

--------------------------------------------------------

Also i have applied

Switch> enable
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)# interface gigabitethernet1/0/15
Switch(config-if)# no storm-control unicast level
Switch(config-if)# exit
Switch(config)# exit
Switch# copy running-config startup-config

But when i run
show storm-control gigabitethernet1/0/15 unicast

shows all blank, like nothing is configured.
I am not following you. When you do "no storm-control unicast level" you disable the feature. The second after you do "show storm-c gi1/0/15 unic" and it is blank because you just disabled the feature. What´s the problem? ;)

well seems that the switch has the unicast storm control disabled, since none of the interfaces show anything configured for storm control.

so is this true:
The default setting on Catalyst switches is to not perform any storm control, neither unicast nor broadcast. Do you experience any problems.

Thanks for your help, sorry for confusion
