What is generating the error?  I assume dbconsole since you mention it.

You can always drop and recreate dbconsole if you wish.

Can you send me comand as

emca  -config dbcontrol db -repos drop

Is not working
That would be the command I would give you.  Please define 'not working'.

how to drop the repos manually as the

emca  -deconfig dbcontrol db  -repos drop is not doing the job.

Again, I need more information other than "not doing the job".

Are you getting any error messages?
Is it saying it completes but the objects are not dropped?
What?

it is saying  "Could not complete the configuration. Refer to the  logfile........."

ran the create command and
ORA_00955: name is already used by an existing object
>> Refer to the  logfile........."

So, what is in the log file?

>>ran the create command and ORA_00955: name is already used by an existing object

That makes sense if the drop didn't work.

Oracle.sysman.emcp.exception.EMConfigEXception: listener is not up or database service is not registered with it. start the listener and register database service and run EM configuration assistant again.

I know the Listener is up and I ran the command
export ORACLE_SID=ORCL
SQL> alter system register;

Check your ORACLE_SID and verify the database did in fact register with the listener:

lsnrctl status

thanks for your responses.

The database is not registered with the listener.  Therefore the error in the log file posted in http:#a34501006 is accurate.
By chance do you have more than one ORACLE_HOME on this machine?

No I have only one database installed

how to register the database?
Back when you posted:
export ORACLE_SID=ORCL
SQL> alter system register;

I assume it returned: 'System Altered'.  That should have forced the registration.

Check the alert log for the database to see if three are any errors.

From the SQL prompt post the results of:
SQL> show parameter local_listener
Can you post the contents of:
 /u00/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/network/admin/listener.ora

SQL> show parameter local_listener

>>SQL> show parameter local_listener

That looks good.

Now for the contents of your listener.ora.

SLIGHTWV,  Super,  great  it did worked like a charm.  I thank you soooo very much.
You diagnosed the problem and quickly send me the solution which worked in first try.
You saved my time

Expert Exchange  and all the gurus thanks.
Glad to help!

For what it's worth, I still manually add my databases to the listener.ora. It's the old way and I've never liked the automatic registration.
