I have a Spring / Java / JSP website that displays oracle data, see attached, running on Windows XP

I can craft this path as a link on the website, where the document is stored on Unix
path: /project_path6/iedw/transforms/claims/system_x/oldfiles
document: ods_cdr_tab_cnt_031_2011_01_02_at_05_47.doc

So I'm looking for a open the documenent. I can logon to the Unix machine but need help in actually how to open the document

omarfarid, thanks.

santoshmotwani, thanks

I guess this was easier than I thought, I can do this in my home HTML development but thought it was more complicated in my day job at the corporate environment, so all I need is Unix location that can be read without credentials.
