Cannot open Adobe PDF file getting File open error: Server answer is an HTML error page.
I have been sent several Adobe PDF files none of them will open. When I attempt to open the file iintially asks for a plugin, I install the plugin then an error pops up saying "The server answer is an HTML error page."
Anybody seen this one before and how do I get around it?

Have you tried re-installing adobe acrobat reader?
Can you tell us the following first before you uninstall anything:
Which software you are using and what OS?
Do you open the files locally from your PC, from the email or from a server share?
Also can you open other PDFs OK?

If you can also post a screenshot (ALTgr+PrtSc) of the popup.

Did they send you the files or a link to the files? Sounds like a link to the files on a webserver is failing.

Apprently the PDF file is Encrypted with some type of Document Rights Management utilty as the person who received it can open it but no one else can.
Below is the screen shot of the error that comes up when I try to open it with Adobe Reader 9 or X. It's asks for a plugin and links "FileOpen system" website, however even after installing the plugin the error still persists.
Any other way around this?
