Is crystal reports version 9 compatible with windows 7?

We have a semi-old software application that was (and still is) developed in powerbuilder and is used on all of our windows xp workstations. I have installed the application on a Windows 7 machine and everything works except when I attempt to run a crystal report. All of our crystal reports are version 9 so is that causing a problem? The win 7 machine in question is 64 bit. Not sure if that is also an issue.

Thanks.

ASKER

Error message 536 which is "You have attempted to log on using incomplete or incorrect log on parameters."
Try to run this file "Run as Administrator"

right click on the installation file and select this option. may be this will help you out.
Perhaps if it's an ODBC connection, create it with C:\Windows\Syswow64\odbcad32.exe.

actually server and database are both 32 bits.
But not the workstation, that's the problem.

It fails on 32 and 64 bit windows 7 machines.
