How can I look up a former employer's Employer Identification Number (EIN) and Employer's State ID Number?
How can I look up a former employer's Employer Identification Number (EIN) and Employer's State ID Number?
I worked for two employers in 2010 that have both refused to provide me with their Employer Identification Number (EIN) and Employer's State ID Numbers.
They both tell me to wait until January 31, 2011 when they will both mail out my W2 forms.
The reason that I need these numbers is so that I can file my taxes so that I can receive my Income tax refunds now so that I can receive my income tax refund faster.
How can I obtain these former employer's Employer Identification Number (EIN) and Employer's State ID Number?

No, I'm not an itemizer and I need to get my taxes filed ASAP.
You cannot file without a W2 - it has the EIN number on it.
You need your W-2 to file. That has to be included with the filing.
I need state id and federal id numbers for any 10 California and Arizona registered companies. I will need company name and address as well.
