Users on different subnet cannot access internal sharepoint site.
Hello all. I have a problem i cannot get my head around. My network has 2 subnets, 192.168.1.x and 192.168.10.x. Users on .10 use DNS servers on .1. I have a sharepoint site setup on 192.168.1.71. All users on the .1 side can get to the site by typing http://sharepoint or http://sharepoint.company.com. Users on the .10 cannot access the site. From the .10 I can ping sharepoint, sharepoint.company.com successfully. I can do a nslookup for both then server name, site name and IP address and it resolves fine. I have DNS entries point sharepoint to the server. My network is as follows...
.1 network - Cisco3750 - 10.1.10.1--T1------10.1.10 .11 - Cisco3750 - 192.168.10.11 - .10 Net
I am not sure why this is happening.
