a domain controller cannot be found to verify that username

we have a VPN tunnel between two sites using Checkpoint Safe@Office appliance firewalls.  we moved a desktop pc from location A to location B.  the domain controller is at location A.  when trying to access the server resources, we get the following error.  "the username you typed is the same as the username you logged in with.  a domain controller cannot be found to verify that username."

i can ping the server ip and name from location B successfully.  any ideas why this is happening.  all the other computers at location B are on a workgroup and dont belong to the domain which is why we have never run into this issue in the past.

sykojester, that did the trick.  the computers at location B were using the local firewall DHCP/DNS.  i configured the primary DNS to be the DC at location A.

Thanks for the help.
