Outlook POP account does NOT prompt for password

I have a user who utilizes Outlook 2007 WITHOUT exchange - they use a POP server. I had to delete the extend.dat file in the Outlook folder to remove a pesky add-in. Now however, the 2 email accounts the user has set up in Outlook (which are set to prompt for password) are not prompting for the password.
Is there anything I can do without having to delete and reconfigure those accounts?
Thanks for the help. I've looked around, but can only find issues with exchange, not POP accounts. :)
