Hi,

My scenario/topology is as follows:

BAS 1 and BAS 2
BES 5.0.1 Primary and BES 5.0.1 Standby

I want to upgrade it all to BES 5.0.2.

What are the steps/precaustions I should be considering?

What I would recommend is to backup the BlackBerry Configuration Database first.

Suggest to upgrade BAS1 and BAS2 then the Primary & Standby as the database schema may have changed during upgrade,

Stop all BAS instances
Upgrade BAS1 and BAS2
Stop all BES instances
Upgrade BES primary and then Standby

Hope this helps.

Hi ,

Well by this time I had read some other solutions in this and other forums and followed what some of others having same prob did, I un-installed 5.0.2 and then re-installed it and well I am done with

BAS server 01

BAS Server 02

BES Primary..

till now the webconsole is opening fine and i am alomost ending with the BES standby and will let you know if after that the webconsole is still opening.

It seems that re-installation has solved the problem.

Regards,

Amir.
