Outlook search stopped working

How do I load COM Add-Ins "Windows Search Email Indexer"?  It say that it is unloaded and I am unable to run searches of my email inboxes in Outlook 2010.  When I check it it will not load.  The file "C:\Windows\System32\mssphtb.dll" which it points to does show in my computer.  This seemed to happen after I ran Registry Mechanic for another problem.  This program wreaked havoc on my computer.

Registry Mechanic ? *Shudders*

Uninstall Registry Mechanic and burn all references to it (Personal opinion).
Uninstall windows search 4
install windows search 4 This should* fix it.

This is the first time I have not gotten any help...so I uninstalled then reinstalled Office and voila!  Search now works!

Where did everyone go on this issue??

No one came to my aid...so I did the only thing I could think of to solve the issue.

Personaly speaking. If a functin of an application stops working then then first step in diagnosing the fault for me would be to reinstall the app. I know thats easy to say now but maybe next time....

Glad your sorted anyway.
