Outlook search stopped working

How do I load COM Add-Ins "Windows Search Email Indexer"?  It say that it is unloaded and I am unable to run searches of my email inboxes in Outlook 2010.  When I check it it will not load.  The file "C:\Windows\System32\mssphtb.dll" which it points to does show in my computer.  This seemed to happen after I ran Registry Mechanic for another problem.  This program wreaked havoc on my computer.

Search works in Windows...just not in Outlook.  It used to.

Personaly speaking. If a functin of an application stops working then then first step in diagnosing the fault for me would be to reinstall the app. I know thats easy to say now but maybe next time....

Glad your sorted anyway.
