SP CUstom List from Excel Spreadsheet

I have a fairly complex spreadsheet that has a tab called raw data that has a few lookups to other tables.

Is there a way to import this data into a SP Custom List?

There is, but I can pretty much guarantee it aint gona work.

SharePoint 2007 has a list type name "Import Spreadsheet" theoretically you select the data range and it adds the fields and imports the data.

Truth is it's BS and uses "note" and "single line" text data types and messes everything up.

I would do it all manually then cut & paste the data in using a datasheet view.
