Forms authentication Farm Administrators?

I am planning an internet site, so the question is simple,  lets suppose that this internet site is not going to have users from inside the company, then I would use forms authentication.   But if I use forms authentication, then the farm administrator can be any user?, or it still have to be a domain user?  If it has to be a domain user, then I guess that I still have to extend the web application, one for the farm admin, web application admin, site collection admin (people who can really edit the pages), and the other with forms authentication for the internet users?

Thanks

It is recommended to have the site admins on the main (default ) zone which is the windows NTLM authentication zone.

But you can mix any type of authentication on any site , including central administration as a site.

best of luck
