Hello,

I have a windows 7 HP ProBook 4710s that I'm trying to get this HSTNN-S01X port replicator to work with, but even though I installed the drivers listed for the product I connect the device and I hear the sound that a usb device was connected but nothing else. The user has admin privs but I dont know what else could cause this.

Hi,

Is there a BIOS setting or application setting that needs to be changed?

What exactly is the user trying to do with the port replicator - i.e. what isn't working?

Regards,

RobMobility.

The device just suddenly stopped a few days back, I checked windows updates however there are none that need to be installed and updated the drivers however it did not work either. The device is supposed to be mounting a flash hard drive but it is not.

I'm believing it's the device it's self because I changed the USB cable and that did not work either.
