SSIS The incoming tabular data stream (TDS) remote procedure call (RPC) protocol stream is incorrect. The RPC name is invalid

Hi guys -

I'm having a bit of a package crisis. I'm using SSIS 2005. My dataflow looks like this.  
But it errors out half way through (the recordset is ~12k that I'm sending through). ALL of the rows error out. And there's no reason for them to. But SSIS gives me this error message when it crashes: "The incoming tabular data stream (TDS) remote procedure call (RPC) protocol stream is incorrect. The RPC name is invalid.".

When i put a data viewer right after the Update box (which is just an UPDATE table set X = Y where Y is the dataset from the oledb source)...which worked fine up until a few days ago. Here's what I get with the data viewer

I can run the update by hand and all is perfectly fine.

Any thoughts as to why I'm suddenly getting this? I've rebuilt the package too, and that hasn't seemed to have fixed anything.
