Windows Firewall  wlan hot spot configuration

One of my  customer is trying to configure Windows 7 firewall as secure as possible when using for  public hotel WLAN hot-spots.

How could Windows 7 firewall be configured as secure as possible with functionality in different hot-spot environments?

When connecting to a new network for the first time in Winodws 7 you will be prompted to select the type of network, if you select public you won't be able to do much more than browse the internet (the level of restriction can be configured from the network & sharing center in Control Panel)

Hello,
are there any gpo or configuration that I  can use in order to customize the windows firewall settings when the user is out of office and navigate to wlan hot spot ?
