can we run 2 or more IIS 7 server with in a Server Farm

we have already running a IIS7 on a Server for general service like FTP.

and now we are deploying WSS 3.0

do we need to run a separate IIS7? or use existing one?
or
is it ok to use 2 IIS7 in 1 server farm?

You can use 1 server with IIS for multiple sites. If you wish to have redundancy then you can install and configure more servers. For "clustering" use NLB (Network Load Balancing" to configure IIS cluster. NLB is available in Windows Server Manager's Features.
