Hyperlink not working in Excel 2010
Hello all,.
I am not able to access the excel to excel hyperlink in excel 2010.
The hyperlink was created successfully and i am able to access all files through Hyperlink but bot any other excel files.
Error:- "Unexpected Error Occurred"

I just created a hyperlink from one excel to other but when i clicked on the link ..it showed the error as
"Unexpected error occurred".
The file does not opens...

Why do you say is correct?! If it was correct the file would open, right?
Can you please post the content of the field? Is it pointing to a file that you have access to?

I created a excel file named as test on my desktop....then create another excel file as book1.
In the BOOk1 i created a hyperlink on cell to the other excel file i.e. test....till now it was right..
But when i clicked on the hyperlink in the "book1" the other excel file "test" did not opened up.
Pls see attached snapshot for error.

You still didn't provided the information that I requested! What is the address that is appearing on the hyperlink address field to check if the address is correct? Probably the address is incorrect, that why you get this error.

The link is correct becoz when i tried to open the file using the link in address that is appearing on the hyperlink address field , it was opening successfully but it does not works when i click over the link.

Sorry for earlier response..when i tried open the file using he hyperlink address in "explorer" or "run"..it did not worked , error snapshot attached.
This issue is only coming with excel files.

So...my suspicious where right! You have an invalid hyperlink, to a location/file that is not correct! That's why you get the error! You need to correct the hyperlink on the Excel sheet, put the correct address on your hyperlink.
