What can I use to stream video on a website to an iphone?

Have you looked at Orb?

http://new.orb.com/

It is a server app on your Mac that transcodes the video (and audio) to a format that the iPhone can play. Just not sure if it will convert the video from a web site, but you can call them and ask.

But a bit more info would be helpful:  Is this your site? Can you change the encoding format of the video? Is this server running on a Mac, Windows, Linux?

If you can choose any encoder, find one that will create mp4 streams, and the iPhone will deal with them correctly. A Google search of "mp4 streaming software" returned 8 million hits on streaming mpeg 4 video. Maybe starting there?

I ended up using Youtube and their custom player info.  I tried using jwplayer and a company that did video streaming.  The result in Australia was 5 minutes to load the video.
