dock station  with HD

Hi I have a dock station for my laptop with a HD inside. When I connect the dock to my laptop it doesn't find the HD that what I have in my disck manager (picture below)

It has found it. It is disk1 You need to right click and initialise the disk and then right click and format a partition on the disk. It is a blank empty disk at present
