Question about PSU watt for server

looking to buy a server, here is the one i am looking at http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF25a/15351-15351-241434-241646-241477-3884315.html

I see some servers have 460 Watt while other have 750 watt... what's the difference? the more watt I have is faster?

the more hardware you need to run inside the server, the more power you will need...

if you are going to run multiple processors, multiple hard drives in a RAID configuration, high end NICS/fiber cards, and particularly graphics cards...if this machine is for graphic intensive applications, CAD, Video, high resolution Graphic Design, you will need some graphics horsepower in this machine which will consume quite a bit of power...

the power supply is not directly correlated to how fast the machine but how much power you have in reserve to power the additional hardware inside this machine...

thanks and let us know if there is anything else we can do to help!
