dyndns link not working from external network

had a dyndns link working from internal network but not from external. what could be the causes for this besides trying to OFF and ON back the device?

"Dyndns link" ???
"Off and ON back the device"   what device?

Dyndns is a 3rd party DNS service, mainly used by people with ISP-assigned dynamic IP addresses.
This allows you external access to your network, by name, no matter what IP address your ISP assigns.

sorry should be more clear on this... has a link eg. http://xxx.dyndns.org 
this link is working if accessed from internal network(within office), but not when outside the office.

Try to ping the name from outside the office.
It should resolve to an IP address (even if the ping times out).
If the IP address is correct, then the problem is with the firewall/router at that IP address.

its turns to be an error in the gateway of the device.. will close the qn and reward points for suggestion
